Ready to SPRING into action and write your novel’s first draft in two months? - It's a challenge, after all! ;)

You are in the right place, you will have the right tools you need and you’ll have the support and motivation you need to get to the finish line. I am so excited to get started, and I can’t wait to see all the women writers sharing and learning from one another!! Woohoo!

This online writing challenge is going to be jam-packed with activities, fun and tips to help you make your dream of writing a novel a reality. Can you imagine, at the end of the 8 weeks, to be able write those two words at the end of your manuscript…

The key thing to participating in this challenge is the support from our community. So, make sure you join the “This Chick Writes Challenge” Facebook group (if you haven't yet). >>>> click here now

This group is AMAZING. Plus, you will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions - from the “technicalities” of the craft of writing to suggestions for your characters’ names! How cool is that?

So here's what you need to know:

1) Have you joined us in the Facebook group yet? You don't want to miss out, so make sure you introduce yourself and tell us what you expect to achieve during this challenge.

• Have you got a novel that you need to develop?
• Do you have an idea for a chick lit, but doesn't quite know where to start?
• How to organise your plot?
• Your characters need some TLC?

2) There will be "homework" (of course! Hehe. Just remember to go at your pace. Establish how many words a day/week you can write. This is your challenge. 50,000 words is a guideline only, ok?)

3) There will also be writing tips and prompts filled with motivation and advice for you to get started and to get unstuck or get rid of writing blocks.

4) There'll also be the amazing support from other members of the community. In the comments in the group we'll share our ideas, takeaways and actions from the homework.

To give continuity to the challenge and increase your chances of success with your writing, for the next two months, once a week, I will answer your questions on a Facebook live session in the group. On this day, I'll also choose two or three pieces of writing to give feedback. You can use the hashtag #askdani in posts and comments, and I'll answer your questions on that day.
